People around the world enjoy an alcoholic drink from time to time, to help to relax and wind down. Often alcohol is consumed socially with friends, perhaps over a meal or simply down in the local pub. However, alcohol consumption is more prevalent in some countries and regions than others, with cultural and religious attitudes often determining how widespread this behaviour is.
