Vik Shirley is associate editor of Sublunary Editions, and editor of Surreal-Absurd at Mercurius magazine. ‘I fell in love with a Braun electric shaver’ appeared in her collection The Continued Closure of the Blue Door (HVTN Press, 2020). Her pamphlet Corpses (Sublunary Editions) was published in 2020. Shirley’s most recent publication is Grotesquerie of the Apocalypse (Beir Bua Press), published in late 2021. She is studying for a PhD in dark humour and the surreal in poetry at the University of Birmingham.
