Here at the Churchill Archives Centre, it is of course the Churchill Papers that we are best known for (the clue is in the name), but we also have about 600 other collections. Although there is no substitute for actually having a piece of paper written and handled by Churchill in front of you (complete with cigar burns and peck marks from his pet budgerigar, in a few cases), it isn’t always possible for researchers to come to us in person, even when there isn’t a global pandemic.
