Kevin Sinfield MBE is arguably the greatest rugby league player of his generation, captaining Leeds Rhinos to seven Grand Finals, three World Club Challenges, three League Leader’s Shields and two Challenge Cups. Beth Oates asked him about his transition to rugby union

In the north of England, league is traditionally the most popular form of rugby. There is a significantly higher number of professional teams, and the Super League is dominated by them. However, more people play rugby union in Yorkshire than in any other county, and Sinfield’s new club, Yorkshire Carnegie, is trying to replicate this in its support.
