LONDON 2012
Team 2012 is the official support programme for British athletes striving to be selected for Team GB and Paralympics GB in 2012.
Supported by Visa, Team 2012 consists of key sports organisations working in partnership to aid UK elite performers in their 2012 preparations. These organisations include LOCOG, the British Olympic Association, the British Paralympic Association and UK Sport. Their aim is to raise up to £25 million in the run-up to 2012 in order to support 1,200 athletes and help deliver ‘our best prepared Olympic and paralympic teams’.
