The Olympic Games 2012

You will see many applications of physics during the 2012 Olympic Games. Take, for example, the design of the buildings, as well the arenas for different sports. The Olympic Stadium, which has capacity of 80 000 people, has a cable-supported roof that contains over 12 km of cable.
