A survival guide to A-level psychology

So you think you’re up for the challenge of A-level psychology? Well, congratulations for choosing a subject that will not only challenge your ability to reason and manipulate material, but will have an impact on your everyday life. In psychology, many basic principles and laws are still being developed and established – there is so much left for us to discover and we, the psychologists of the future, could be the ones to do it. First though, exams need to be passed, and below is a guide to success.

Perhaps the simplest but most important suggestion for how you can increase your chances of doing well in your exam is to pay attention in class. Your teachers do know what they are talking about! By listening to them, you will learn involuntarily. It makes revising a lot easier when you can already remember some of the specification.
