Preparing for the year ahead

Have you ever noticed that the body shape of a sprinter and the body shape of a marathon runner are very different? They are both runners, so why are there such differences? Running a sprint requires fast reactions and a powerful burst of energy. Running a marathon, on the other hand, requires stamina and a lean physique. You, too, have an event to train for: psychology A-level!

In subjects where you complete assessments throughout the course, you could consider yourself to be completing a series of sprints. In examination systems where you complete assessments only at the end of the course, you are preparing yourself for a marathon. The way to prepare for these two events is very different.
