My daughter spends a large portion of her screen time watching life hack tutorials on YouTube. Thanks to YouTube, we now hull strawberries with a straw (reusable) and use toothpaste to return mucky white-soled trainers to box-fresh sparkly whiteness. Apparently, if we turn the toaster on its side then we have a toasted sandwich maker!

So, what is a life hack? It’s a simple tip or technique for accomplishing a task more easily or efficiently. I’m not sure the techniques I’m going to suggest make revising easier (I’m going to advocate techniques that require your brain to work harder), but they will make you more efficient, making time spent revising really count.
