Psychology is the country’s second most popular A-level subject choice, behind maths and a little beyond biology. It is also one of the most popular degree choices. It is likely that this passion for psychology comes from students hoping to learn more about the human brain and its influence on behaviour, to understand important issues in their lives, make logical choices, plan big life decisions and simply live a little better.

As a student of psychology, you are likely to be particularly interested in whether psychological research can make you a more effective academic performer. In their book Peak Performance (2017), Brad Stulberg and Steve Magness apply psychological theory to business and sport. The following is an adaptation of their ideas to help you with your revision planning.
