Old Harry Rocks, Dorset

Old Harry Rocks are located off Ballard Point on the Dorset coast, close to Swanage (see Figure 1). The largest stack at the end of the headland is called ‘Old Harry’ and is named after the Devil who, legend says, once slept on the rock. The smaller stack beside it is named ‘Old Harry’s Wife’, and the larger outcrop behind Old Harry is called ‘No Man’s Land’.
