This poster is relevant to AQA A-level Paper 2 (tort), OCR A-level Component 2 (tort) and WJEC/Eduqas A-level Components 2 and 3.

Private nuisance is a tort that is connected to ‘land’. The tort attempts to create a balance between conflicting interests in land. It is different in its relationship with other torts, specifically trespass to land (which requires direct rather that indirect interference) and negligence (where a legal duty must be established to bring a claim).
