There may no longer be an opportunity for you to test your progress under pressure in January exams, but your centre will probably be organising mock exams to check how you are performing, especially whether you are making use of past papers.

Definitions are the foundation of any good answer and you should aim to impress the examiner early on by demonstrating clear and precise knowledge. There will be specific key terms that you must learn for each unit. Making a glossary and testing yourself regularly throughout the year will not only give you confidence but also enable you to develop your answers further and make links to both the business in question and other aspects of the specification.
