Zak Resinato is a name you are unlikely to be familiar with. However, he is a man on a mission — or more precisely, a barber on a mission. The man behind the Jagged Edge brand, Resinato has set about trying to revolutionise the world of the hairdressing.

Having opened three salons in his home county of Bedfordshire, he identified an opportunity to set up a pop-up unit at a local retail park. He was convinced that the offer of free parking and ease of access to the store would prove fruitful. Five years on, he has proven that the concept works, and has signed a deal to open up further units, or ‘pods’, in Sainsbury’s car parks around the country.
