What makes a great logo?

The importance of branding is examined frequently. The ‘brand’ of a business is a multifaceted concept and a major aspect is the visual representation of the firm, i.e. the logo

A logo is the face of a company and a key indicator of the values and beliefs that it holds. Logos represent organisations, so need to be recognisable with a quick glance. For logos to be effective they have to work at different sizes and be easily identifiable no matter where you are.
