Evidence suggests the premium for a degree over an individual’s lifetime can be substantial

Achieving success in an economics exam requires some key skills. Not least of which is the importance of awareness. You may be faced with a question that calls upon you to identify the relevant area of economic theory. You will also need to be able to apply that relevant piece of economic theory to a specific context. This allows you to show your understanding of the theory in question.

In this column, I will take the theme of ‘education’, and explore some of the ways in which it could crop up in exams.
