As the first contributor to the Future Library project, Margaret Atwood has just written a story that will only be read in a century’s time, long after her own death. Her book is the first of 100 to be written by different authors between now and 2114; a special forest has been planted in Norway and its trees will be used to make the paper on which the Future Library will be printed.
