Update on London’s Olympics

Previous Getting Started columns have looked at the characteristics of London’s Olympic bid, and progress on the site (see Further reading). This is the third of a series of annual updates that will review progress to 2012.

Tickets for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics will go on sale next year. Meanwhile, the urban landscape of east London — particularly Stratford and the Olympic Park — continues to change rapidly. Progress with construction of the Olympic Park venues is well on track:
