Making the grade question and answer
This Question and Answer considers a 2016 A-level question for the WJEC/Eduqas specification. It tests Component 1, Topic 1.2 Glaciated landscapes, and the questions presented here come from the Sample Assessment Materials. This topic is covered by other exam boards (see Box 1) and the questions discussed could be used by students of these other specifications, bearing in mind differences in question and mark-scheme style. The question sequence discussed here is quite typical of questions on the glaciation/glacial landscapes topic for the 2016 specifications:
