SB How did you start playing hockey?

ST I played a lot of tennis when I was growing up, which I loved, but if I am honest I got a little lonely. At a stage when I went to secondary school I wanted to be part of a team. I started playing hockey at secondary school and initially hated it, my back hurt, it wasn’t comfortable, but eventually I grew to love it and I have never looked back! Playing an individual sport such as tennis was brilliant but I felt I would flourish more in a team sport.
