For athletes, hydration and nutrition are key to maximising performance and allowing their bodies to recover.

Food provides the nutrients needed for our body’s growth and renewal. It is even more important for elite performers, because it must fuel both short bursts of intense activity and sustained efforts over longer periods of time. Food is also important for building and maintaining muscle power, boosting stamina and increasing endurance. Physical training is paramount in achieving these goals but the best performances are achieved through a combination of training and good nutrition.
