One of the most useful skills you can learn in advance of going to university is how to conduct a proper online search. Standard search engines like Google are technological marvels but they aren’t terribly selective — 20 million hits will take you a while to sift through! Using the right tools can narrow down your searches and save time.

Determining what is the right tool depends on what you are looking for. You might be online to consolidate the basics and what you are after is a set of definitions. You can find psychology dictionaries at http://allpsych.com/dictionary.html and at www.tuition.com.hk/psychology/
