AC Can you briefly summarise your education and career to date?

CM Yes. I did my A-levels in 1978 in English, history and French. I didn’t get the grades I wanted and was going to go back and do a third year of sixth form but decided to do law at Leicester Polytechnic (now De Montfort University).
