The ‘Using the Item analyse two…’ questions appear only on the A-level exam papers. They appear in Paper 1 Education, Paper 2 Topics (one on each topic) and Paper 3 Crime and Deviance.The mark scheme for this question type is shown in Box 1.
‘Using the Item analyse two…’ questions are very different from ‘Outline and explain two...’ questions, which were discussed in the previous issue of SOCIOLOGY REVIEW. Our focus here is on questions where you must base your answer on points taken directly from the Item.
