After collecting your fieldwork data, you need to choose a suitable way in which to present the data. A GCSE project that shows a diverse range of graph styles can demonstrate your skill in understanding and presenting data in different forms. Instead of using common forms of graphical representation — such as bar graphs, line graphs and pie charts — try using a method that is not as frequently used, such as a scattergraph.
Scattergraphs show relationships between two sets of data and help you to analyse your findings. Regardless of what graph style you use, though, you must remember to include a title, labelled graph axes (showing the units) and a key if one is required.
