IP I take 2 days off per week: Mondays and Fridays. This means that my body has a chance to adapt to the training I do in between. A few years ago I tried training 6 days straight but I found I was so tired by the end of the week that the quality of my training was dropping. A 5:2 balance of training:rest suits me perfectly.

IP I am fond of napping and it seems like an hour or so in bed during the day helps me to recover and also to find some extra energy needed to tackle everyday chores after training, like studying. Nutrition is important too as your body needs specific foods to build up again between sessions. For me it’s also vital that I spend time relaxing and being around my friends and family, as this keeps my morale high and my mood positive.
